Brian Russman, LCSW, CSAT, CAP, EMDR
Brian Russman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Certified Sex Addiction Therapist, Certified Addiction Professional, and an EMDR Trained Clinician. Brian specializes in all forms of addiction (including sex addiction and cyber addiction), trauma-informed therapy, family systems, codependency and enmeshment, partner betrayal trauma, and personality and character disturbance.
Brian is extremely passionate about this work and has dedicated his life to it. Brian is most interested in working with individuals and family members who are motivated for change and are willing to do the hard work. Brian knows that even if you don't think you can stop, or you don't know how or where to begin, you can find peace and freedom through connection and support from others.
Education & Experience
Brian is currently working at the outpatient level of care in his private practice, Reimagine Freedom. Brian has over 16 years of direct clinical experience in behavioral health care. His experience includes working for the State of Florida as a substance abuse counselor in forensic and correctional settings assisting residents suffering with major mental illness gain recovery skills and tools. Brian held the position of Deputy Chief Clinical Officer for the largest addiction treatment group in Asia, “The Cabin,” where he oversaw staff and services for a 120-bed residential program as well as six internationally located intensive outpatient clinics. Most recently, Brian served as the Clinical Director of a Florida-based residential treatment center and oversaw their transition from being a primary substance abuse treatment facility into a behavioral health facility specializing in trauma, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders.
Brian received his Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work from Barry University.
